GNRC Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025

GNRC Hospitals, Dispur, commemorated International Women’s Day with a special event honouring three eminent women leaders of Assam — Dr. Alaka Goswami (Gynaecologist), Ms. Sushmita Goswami (President, Guwahati Press Club), and Ms. Mridusmita Das Bora (Sattriya Dancer & Entrepreneur). The hospital also recognised its women employees with over 25 years of dedicated service, including doctors, nurses, and support staff.

The event featured speeches by Dr. Saroj Singh and Prof. (Dr.) Ranju Rani Das, musical performances by GNRC staff, and a heartfelt address by GNRC Founder Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah. The keynote speakers emphasised the crucial role of women in healthcare, media, and the arts, highlighting the importance of recognition and empowerment.
