GNRC Healthcamps and Outreach Clinics

GNRC Hospitals has taken a significant step towards providing accessible and quality healthcare services to the people living in various regions of Assam and the Northeast India. Many distant areas lack adequate medical infrastructure, resulting in limited healthcare options for its residents. In order to fulfill their mission of providing accessible and quality healthcare, GNRC organises Health Camps and Outreach Programmes wherein doctors from GNRC visit far-flung areas to provide medical treatment to the people in those areas. 

These initiatives aim to bridge the healthcare gap, particularly in the underserved regions, by delivering essential healthcare services and improving the overall well-being of the local population bringing healthcare services directly to the doorstep of those in need. 

The GNRC Outreach programme involves teams of doctors and support staff from GNRC Hospitals travelling to various suburban and rural localities (Arunachal, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Bongaigaon, Tezpur, Nagaon etc.) across Assam and other Northeastern states. The doctors participating in the outreach programme cover multiple medical specialties, including neurology, cardiology, and orthopaedics among others which ensures that a broad spectrum of healthcare needs can be addressed. 

This ensures that patients with specific medical needs receive specialised care close to their homes. They assess symptoms, provide diagnosis, offer treatment options, and prescribe medications as required. The expert support staff from GNRC measures the vital health indicators such as blood pressure, blood sugar levels, weight, and temperature. This helps in assessing the overall health status of individuals and aids doctors in providing accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment plans.
