GNRC Medical, North Guwahati, Introduces Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery

North Guwahati, March 19: GNRC Medical, North Guwahati, has launched Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS), a cutting-edge neurosurgical technique that offers quicker recovery, reduced pain, and minimal tissue damage compared to traditional spine surgeries. At a press conference, neurosurgeons Dr. Sunil Panchal, Dr. Junaid Ahmed, and Dr. Dhrubajyoti Choudhury highlighted the high success rate of MISS, having already performed 167 successful procedures at the hospital.

GNRC’s leadership, including Dr. Madhurjya Borah and Mr. Pradip Handique, emphasised their commitment to affordable, advanced care. MISS is now available under PMJAY, offering significant savings compared to private hospitals charging up to ₹3 lakh.

MISS involves small incisions and advanced tools, enabling precise treatment of spinal conditions like stenosis and scoliosis with minimal disruption. The initiative reinforces GNRC’s role as a regional leader in accessible, high-quality neurosurgical care.
