Guwahati, February 08, 2025: GNRC Ltd. a leading healthcare provider in the North East India, observed the 18th foundation of its second facility established to care for the community, at the NEDFi Convention Centre, Guwahati today. To commemorate the occasion, Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah, Founder, Affordable Health Mission and Group of GNRC Hospitals, highlighted “GNRC স্পর্শ (Sparsha) Scheme” is an innovative membership program designed to make quality healthcare more accessible and affordable for the people of Guwahati at a  Price of Rs. 1500/ for membership. The “GNRC স্পর্শ (Sparsha) Scheme” offers a range of benefits, in terms of home visits at regular intervals by a medical team, consultations, investigation and hospitalization. He also welcomed and felicitated chief guests Mrs. Namita Bhattarcharyya (Popular Assamese Singer) and Guest of Honour Mr Dhaijya Hazarika (Executive Editor,  Asomiya Pratidin)
On the auspicious occasion, Mrs. Namita Bhattarcharyya and Mr Dhaijya Hazarika unveiled the unique and ground breaking healthcare initiative titled as “GNRC স্পর্শ (Sparsha) Scheme”.

Key features of “GNRC স্পর্শ (Sparsha) Scheme”

There will be no age bar
1.    INR 1500/- yearly membership fees for an individual
2.    GNRC স্পর্শ” members will be valid for residents of Guwahati City only.
3.    Doctor will visit at home for a general check-up and consultation, once in every  04 months (Visit by Doctor, Nursing, CRM team)
4.    Free Blood sugar test, Blood pressure and weight check-up at home once in every 04 months
5.    Free ECG at home once in  a year
6.    Free consultation  in OPD Clinic with Neurologist, Cardiologist & Nephrologists twice in a year
7.    Free consultation  in OPD Clinic with a Gynaecologist (female members) & Pediatrician (children members) twice in a year 
8.    Free Ambulance service to GNRC Hospital, Sixmile in case of emergency within Guwahati city
