GNRC Hospitals organised the Swasthyamitra Excellence Awards 2025 on Sunday, December 28, at the ITA Pragjyoti Centre for Performing Arts, Guwahati. The event brought together over 1,400 Swasthyamitras from different parts of Assam, recognising their contribution to strengthening community-level healthcare outreach.
As part of the programme, 212 high-performing Swasthyamitras were inducted into GNRC’s payroll, while 18 Team Leaders were promoted to the position of Assistant Zonal Manager, marking an important milestone in their professional journey.
The programme was attended by Dr Nomal Chandra Borah, Founder – GNRC Universal Health Mission & GNRC Group of Hospitals, Mrs Satabdee Borah, Executive Director, GNRC Hospitals, Assamese film actress Ms Barnali Puzari, and noted motivational speaker and advocate Mr Dipak Sharma.
The speakers acknowledged the dedication of the Swasthyamitras and encouraged them to continue their role as a vital link between GNRC and the communities they serve.
