Department of Cardiology at GNRC Dispur
The Department of Cardiology was set up in the year 1997 by Dr. Manish Chandra Bhuyan, the first formally trained cardiologist in the region. Dr. Anup K Boro, who was attached to the then Prime Minister of India Shri P.V. Narsimha Rao as his personal cardiologist, joined Dr. Bhuyan to offer dedicated cardiac services to the people of Assam and the North-East.

CARDIOLOGY CLINIC: The GNRC Cardiology clinic treats every kind of Cardiac Ailment with symptoms such as chest pain, palpitation, shortness of breath, irregularity in the pulse rate and heart rate, heavy sweating and high blood pressure. The Cardiology OPD clinic operates Monday to Saturday (9am-5pm).
